I snagged an Etsy Treasury!

I wanted to mention that I happened to snag an Etsy treasury earlier today out of pure luck! I just happened to be looking at other members curated treasuries at the time and then suddenly a treasury opened up! I was so excited and on the spot had to think of a real quick name...and I had been searching for bears on Etsy earlier in the day for my Grandma's Christmas present and was amazed at all the cute and adorable, not to mention stunning photography of handmade bear items! So I decided to curate a treasury all about bears...and so the name: "Grin and Bear It" came along....lol.

It is such an adorable treasury, specially if you love bears! So please take a look and give some very talented Etsiers some love!

Changed My Shop Banner!

So I'm trying to give my shop a festive look for the holidays...so I decided to temporarily change my banner. I'm thinking about doing this from now on for every holiday season!

Christmas!!

I just started on my Christmas items for my shop...I know really late! But once I got started I didn't want to stop! Christmas cards are my favorite things to make!

I started by making a couple very cute Christmas cards using the free digital stamp image I got from Digital Doodling and from there made matching tags and stickers!

NEW listing for today November 14th 2009...

I'm still here!!

My whole house has been so sick for the past week, myself included that I haven't been really able to do much of anything! So I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still here....lol.

I'm starting to feel a little better however and finally brought myself around to starting on my Christmas cards last night....I know really late! I will be posting some later this week that I finished. I can't wait to list them on Etsy!!

I did manage to list a beautiful new beaded bookmark I made this week called "Morning Glory Sunrise". I almost kept this one for myself! It is made with soft colors in yellow, blue an pink. An Anitiqued silver bird and it's nest rest on top of pretty Czech glass morning glory flowers in the softest colors of pink, yellow and blue. It also has some Swarovski crystals and Czech glass faceted crystals for added sparkle!

I am a proud member of Etsy Trade-A-Holics AKA Team Trade On!...recently we had a trading event and I had the pleasure of trading with another wonderfully talented Etsy seller! I traded for some of her Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Fudge from her HillSideBakery shop. It was so delicious...it didn't even last the day in my house...lol! And the fudge was shipped in really nice gift box, arrived quickly and fresh!

The HillSideBakery is a licensed and inspected Winsconsin in home bakery. Her bakery offers all different kinds of fudge by the pound of half pound and in various unique flavors including; Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, Chocolate Walnut, Vanilla Cranberry Walnut, Chocolate Pecan, Turtle, Peanut Butter, Rocky Road and Snicker Bar.
